FIT for life:
Kinetic learninG
Far more than simply fitness or obedience training, Kinetic Learning is a method of teaching which helps dogs to develop and acquire skills through movement and sensory experience, connecting brain and body.
CanineKinetics’ approach recognises that movement influences not only how a dog functions physically, but also how they feel, learn, communicate, and interact with the world around them. Through purposeful movement and sensory experiences, dogs can develop improved co-ordination, confidence, emotional regulation, and body awareness, whilst building a stronger partnership with their owners.
Personalised support and coaching is tailored to each dog’s individual needs, because all dogs are different and learn in their own unique ways, and at their own pace. Kinetic Learning includes techniques and games to support physical and emotional health and well-being, each movement is learnt in achievable steps, using kind, reward-based, shaping techniques, and always working within each dog’s own confidence and comfort levels.
Kinetic Learning is designed to be an enjoyable, rewarding, and enriching experience that both dog and owner can share together; dogs love the opportunity to learn new movements and to engage with the sensory platforms and equipment. As dogs develop physical skills, confidence, and body awareness, owners often gain a deeper understanding of their dog’s communication, preferences, and individual needs. For many partnerships, the activities become much more than an exercise or training programme—they are an opportunity to spend quality time together, strengthen their bond, and enjoy learning more advanced movements and sequences as a team.
The perfect starting point for dogs and owners who are new to Kinetic Learning.
During this session, we will explore your dog’s movement, body awareness, confidence and individual needs. You’ll learn more about how Kinetic Learning can support your dog’s physical and emotional health and be introduced to activities tailored specifically to your dog.
This session can be enjoyed as a stand-alone experience or as the first step towards a personalised learning journey.
